Specialized Packaging London, a quick-response leader in high quality folding cartons is seeking an IT Programmer/Analyst to work as a part of our Information Technology Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for documenting application requirements for the SyteLine 7 ERP system. The position is also responsible for executing on those requirements and delivring the end result to the user
  • works as a member of a team to solve Information Systems challenges through development or support of new and existing systems
  • Some travel is required to other Business sites within the group
  • Participation with employees in continuous improvement projects and suggestions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science/Business Information Systems or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL 2000, Visual Studio 6.0/.net and Crystal reports. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project. Prior work with the SyteLine ERP application or Web application development is a pluss
  • Basic knowledge and skill in converting specifications and procedures of moderate complexity into application and program solutions, plus effectively communicating program specifications both verbaly and in writing
  • Organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Excelent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines and schedules
  • Strong attention to detail
