Do you have extensive experience with Investment Funds or Portfolio accounting? Do you have a passion for leveraging your exceptional skills and specific industry knowledge on systems or process re-engineering projects? Resources Global Professionals is looking for talented Investment Fund or Portfolio accounting professionals to join our team in our Accounting Finance and Information Management Practices. As a Resources professional, you will have the ability to play an instrumental role in assisting clients in a variety challenging projects including the annual reporting cycle, process automation efforts, and systems implementations, upgrades or conversions. On systems events we help our clients with planning and design, customization, integration, data migration, reconciliations and QA review, documentation, training, policies development, and post implementation review and process re-engineering.

In addition, our successful (position) professionals possess: • An undergraduate degree in commerce, accounting, business or a similar field. • An accounting designation (CA, CMA or CGA). • A minimum of 5 years working directly in Investment Fund, Pension, or Portfolio Accounting areas. • Significant experience on widely used industry specific systems including MPower, PAM, Sungard VPM or InvestOne, FMC Pacer, Advent Geneva, etc. • In depth knowledge of certain industry activities such as NAV calculations, derivatives accounting, corporate action impacts, securities pricing, financial statement presentation, tax reporting, expense allocation methodologies, etc. and / or • Specific experience assisting with systems conversions relating to this industry including activities such as requirements definition, conversion planning, systems customization, managing data transfer, and reconciliations.
