As a Healthcare Director being trained for future Principal position you will be responsible to assist in the management and operations of an audit reviewing paid medical claims to determine whether an overpayment exits due to duplicate payments, incorrect contract rates, and coordination of benefits. Requirements: - 5+ healthcare experience (Healthcare Recovery Auditing, Knowledge of Medical Claim Adjudication, Medical Billing, or Managed Care Contracting and Reimbursement)
- 5+ years of management experience
- Bachelor of Business/Finance Degree; MBA / CPA a plus
- Willing to travel 25% or less
- Willing to relocate to manage new audit
- Knowledge of all healthcare standard code (CPT4, ICD-9, HCPCS and Revenue Codes) Preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare claim adjudication procedures and standards
- Experience with direct client contact (account management, audit, sales, etc)
- Previous auditing experience a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Access and Excel
