We currently require several consultants to assist our clients who are impacted by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and Bill 198. Opportunities are both in and around Calgary, AB, and some clients have needs across Canada and in the US. We need people who may be willing to travel (although it is not a requirement) with various industry knowledge including oil and gas, financial services, high tech, manufacturing, and consumer goods.
To be considered requirements include the following: You are a Chartered Accountant (designated in Canada) with experience with a public accounting firm performing financial audits, or you are a CGA, CMA, or CIA coupled with strong internal audit experience. You have experience with, and an aptitude for, preparing audit programs, risk assessments, and documenting and evaluating internal controls and knowledge of the COSO and/or COBIT frameworks. You may have areas of specific knowledge or expertise such as IT audits and related designations (CISA) as well. You possess well developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and oral) and a client service focus. You may be willing to travel (although it is not a requirement) to various centers within Canada and across the US.
