Director of IT Operations & Administration

Uline, a leading international distributor of packaging & industrial supplies, seeks a Director of IT Operations & Administration for their Corporate Office in Waukegan, IL.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:

  • Responsible for management of IT Operations & IT Administration groups

  • Ongoing monitoring of all IT production systems within Uline organization

  • Responsible for IT infrastructure & operations, including system / network administration, LAN support & helpdesk functions

  • Manage a team of 18 professionals

  • Creation & maintenance of Disaster Recovery procedures as new systems are implemented

  • Plan for future growth & additional services, while controlling costs

  • Manage IT Assets & Procurement functions to ensure effective, efficient use of IT resources

  • Strong experience in both strategic & operational management, information systems & experience managing top quality service resource teams

  • Prior experience managing both Administrative & Operational areas within an IT organization

  • Experience in data management, systems implementation, analysis & redesign of business processes highly desired

  • Proven success managing service delivery teams who work under deadlines with extremely high quality standards

  • Excellent oral & written communications skills

  • MBA preferred
