Career Options besides 9 to 5 in an office?
Asked by djjazzy01
Hello, I am at a completely life changed stage in my life, I am almost 30 and ready to quit the corporate world. I am looking for advice on other options than the headache of the system. I want to be my own boss but I dont want to work crazy hours as well, because I a single guy looking to have a life outside of work.
I work in IT, which is the main reason I want out, its too specific and at the beck and call of the business.
There has to be something else> has to, Im looking for something that maybe combines any outside work with an office,
I am not beneath blue collar, but Im looking for a long tern career where I CONTROL MY MONEY, GET IT.
Preferbly, no trades, contruction, outside sales, (Im not a people person, and you cant train that,it has to come natural)
I have thought about : architecture, radio/tv, route sales, but I dont know how to enter these without any background in them, I have even thought about porn, yes thats how fed up with office work I am,
To me nothing happens in a 9 to 5, because people just wait for their check and work 3 actual hours and bullshit the rest on the compauter/web because its there. Their is another way that is more flexible, has to be!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also dont want gov/dangerours job like police, fire, hospital, and have no interest in healthcare(am scared of them). Also, not interested in education, I hate kids. altough the time off would be benificial.
What about entertainment? acting, of course its risky but what do I have to lose? They will always be entertainment work, comics/performers travel the country, how can they lose their so called JOB, besides health issues?
Overall, Im looking for work.life balance with freedom? which I know everyone wants, but I have to make it happen NOW, Im am 29, time is RIGHT NOW!!!

Wow, you sound alot like me, I'm 33 and I work as a subsurface utility engineer. In my search for financial freedom, I have tried alot of different things working from home. Most of the programs are scams, or just too expensive to pursue. But I have to done excellent research thru good old fashioned trial and error. There are many great opportunities in this day and age you just need to be involed with the right company. Here's what you look for in any business or online company.
1. If you decide to sell a product it has to be in high demand and be very low in cost.
2. You don't want a fly by night company......look for an established business with 5, 10, 20 or 30 years in business.
3. Find a publicly traded company to work for that's on the New York stock exchange.
4. Does the company have growth every year that's it's been in business??? It should or that's not the direction you want to go in.
5. Finally does the product or service just make since? Is there a need for it in the marketplace?
There are incredible opportunities online if you follow these steps.....And yes, there is a home business and a company with all of these credentials. There is cost but it very low and the commissions are incredibly high. If your interested click on the link, watch this short 2 part video and feel free to send me an email if you have anymore questions. Financial freedom is just a click away!!!
