You should include:
why you want the job
what skills you have that match the job
what you can bring to the company.
Simply stating the role you want is a little poor, doesn't capture the interviewers imagination and serves little purpose.
Here are some resume objective examples to help you.

A great place to look for resume-how-to's is at the homepage of your local university. Click on their 'index' link and find their career website. From here, you can find tons of information on resumes and how to properly word them and format them. It's really quite easy. If you're looking for a job right now, you might want to consider (once your resume is finished) posting your resume on a free classified ads website such as http://www.stumblehere.com. The direct link to their resume section is http://stumblehere.com/search/subject-resumes/search_where-city/.
