A:
Standard info about where you live and whatnot, then any previous areas of employment. Sometimes there will be questions like "What do you plan to do with your future?" or a section where you simply talk about yourself. Not very stressful.

Education experience, previous work experience, reason for leaving previous jobs, and if you've ever been convicted of a felony or dishonorably discharged from the military are probably the most common questions on a job application.

Some questions i've been asked.. Why do you want to work here? Why do you think you'd be a great addition to our team? (In other words, why should we hire you?) Why did you leave your last job?

This has somewhat to do with what you are applying for. I am an asst. mgr. and have sat-in on a couple of interviews. Because you are asking such a question, I am guessing that you are still in high school...? (And, yes, we hire several high-school aged people at my place of employment.) If they say something along the lines of "Tell me about yourself" (usually the first question or so), they do not want to know your family history, rather your previous occupations, or your qualifications for the position. Why do you want to work for this company? How can the company benefit by hiring you? What are your strengths? In what areas would you like to improve? (What are your weaknesses.) What do you do in your spare time? (Hobbies, sports, music, etc.) Those are the ones that come to mind off the top of my head.
