I need some good words to ask someone I already know for a job?

I am working on a project for the Engineer. The project is near completion and the Contractor's Superintendent tolled me that his boss might has some work for me to the location were I am moving. So I am about to send him an email but I feel like a dork almost begging for a job. This guy is straight foward..give me some good straight foward verbaige to send in an email with my attached resume. Thanks in advance
