I am a 13 year old girl in eighth grade. I live in PA I am almost going to be 14 but I really need a job now. Does anyone have any jobs I can find in PA?

Unless your parents can find you somethin to do at their place, or any other family member...i'm gonna say a paper round is the only thing you can do at your age.

your not old enough to get a job. you could try asking family members taht might own businesses if theres anything that you can do for them but otherwise you cant get a job. You can when you turn 14 tho.

u have to be at least 14..or else the person that hires u can go to jail :D at 14 u can work at ur public library and maybe some fast food places...just do chores to make a little xtra money

i would suggest getting a babysitting job from ur school councelor. They pay alot of money. and babysitting can be really fun!

join the club... you r probably better off doing lots of jobs for different people... like mowing lawn, babysitting, pet sitting, and a whole bunch of stuff like that...

Besides Newspaper routes. No. If you wait till you're 14 then you can work at McDonald's. Also, I don't know how close you live to Hershey Park, but they hire at 14!!! Those are you're only options for now!

your best bet is either waitress (pay stasts ow but the tips are good) or paper round (noy good if you like alie-in. I agree there should be more but child labour laws prevent this, probably for the better.

No. You can't legally work at that age.
And, I would never trust a 13 year old to babysit my kids. That's like a baby watching over a baby. Cause face it, 13 is still very young.
I think I would trust a Companion dog more, at least he could dial 911 with his paws. You'd probably be too busy doing your nails or texting your BFF Jill while the kids are drowning in the tub.
Good luck. Move to Mexico if you want a job at your age.

my friend is 13 and she is a lifegaurd helper in the summer.
you can try babysitting!!! that always gets you alot of moeny. or do odd jobs for neighbors or somthing like that. If you want real jobs....you might be to young.

I don't live in PA but I know that there are many jobs you can do at your age. Papercarrier....babysitter....mow yards (can make good pay at this)...As a paper carrier you have to work every single day...however, you you babysit or mow yards you work only when you want extra money.

Sorry honey, but you have to be 14 and up in order to be the recipient of a job. It's part of the Child Labor Laws. How about selling some stuff on ebay, of have a garage sale? I have a good one! How about shoveling people's driveways for $7.00? Since you live in PA, it snows up there, take advantage of that.

you cant get a job until your 14 in america and still its almost imposible to get hired until your are 16 or so. Try mowing lawns or like other stuff in your neighborhood especially with summer coming up. you'll make some good cash for a 13 year old.

Be very patient, you can't get a job until you are atleast 15 (with connections) or older. I understand you need money right away but don't even bother to ask for applications at stores if your 13 or 14. Don't waste your time on that. The only jobs you can work are paper route, lawn mowing, and baby sitting. It may be hard work, but its better than waiting 2 or 3 years to get a job.
For now just be patient.

Your a little young like everybody said.
If you really need to work try being the carrier for your local newspaper or get a babysitting job. For money here and there try shovelling an elderly neighbours driveway or mowing their lawn etc.
Its hard to get a job at 13. Im 17 and I know alot of people didnt get jobs until they were at LEAST 15.
Try to live your life for awhile before you work. Your only 13 once! Ask yourself this, is there really a rush to jump into the workforce?
