You wear a dress shirt, dress pants, and a suit jacket. Real jobs demand this, so that is what you wear the suit should probably be black.

Conservative clothing. Get a nice suit if possible. Try to wear dark grays, like elephant color. These can look nice in the day in a professional environment. Best of lucks!!

wear something close to what the people wear there to work.. i applied at an animal shelter... and i had an interview and i went all dressed up.. real pretty.. and the people that work there wear t shirts and pants and they clean poops and stuff.. and the lady didnt want to hire me because i looked so clean...and she thought maybe i wouldnt want to do my job the right way...

A:
A buisness suit, as long as the length is socially acceptable. Nothing too short, as it'll make you seem unprofessional and promiscuious, but nothing too long so you don't appear like a nun. Have some make up on, but not a lot. You're trying to impress them with your credentials, not your beauty. And some nice shoes, maybe high heels that match the suit. Good luck!
Answered by kagekiri_tora

A:
You know that shirt that, when you out it on you just feel great? Wear that one. Same goes for pants, that match, put em on. You really should wear the outfit that makes you feel good about yourself. It shows. No revealing tops, or thongs pokin out. Walk in with confidence knowing that you look good too. In the end, it's what's in the cake, not on it.
Answered by Paulfy

A:
because its for a law firm you probably wanna wear a suit but you should go to the law firm a day or 2 before and just look at the people walkin in and out and see what their wearing so that you can get a feel for the type of suit you would need to wear on a daily basis and then wear that
Answered by coolyo514

A:
Black or dark gray trousers, white blouse. Boring serious classic clothes, no heels, wear flats or low heeled shoes. NO cleavage. ONE accessory if you must. No dangly earrings. Skip the raccoon eyeliner, keep the makeup simple and light. I'm assuming your'e a girl since boys would simply put on a suit and go to the interveiw :) Most importantly wear an air of confidence, smile, and maintain eye contact! Good luck!
Answered by daisy

A:
if you're in the USA, it should be a suit. It should be black, navy or grey. Wear everything perfectly coordinated. If you're a woman you wanted to have the soigne look. Earrings same metal as bracelet, conservative button earrings. Wear watch same metal as earrings and a simple but elegant bracelet on same hand as watch. pumps preferably matching leather of purse. Elegant, but conservative. Banks and law firms tend to be very conservative so dress simply but coordinate all accessories, shoes, handbags, earrings, watch , bracelet, Make sure the jewelry is all similar in metals, design patterns. For a law firm you might add a well-coordinated briefcase Good Luck
