SUN vs. MOON
What are some other sites besides Craigslist where I can contact the employer DIRECTLY?
Asked by SUN vs. MOON
I hate employment sites because they give you a form to fill out and they never give you any info to contact the employer directly, which I prefer, because it gets MUCH better results. What are some other sites like Craigslist where I can look for jobs and contact the employer through their email or phone?

The biggest reason employers do not give out their contact information is because agencies tend to call them DAILY. Obviously if an employer is looking to hire someone and contact information is listed, more than likely they will receive many calls from agencies asking the employer to use them for their services. This is why you dont see too many employers listing their information. If you know who the employer is, then you can do a little research on the web and most likely find a contact, however these tricks are also used by the agencies. Of course employment agencies are not going to give you the info to contact the employer directly...the agency is the middle man and they work on commission. Companies hire agencies to find the right person for the job. Check out Monster.com or careerbuilder.com. They usually want a resume emailed before direct contact though.
