Asked by silenceofnike
I dont think a suit is nessesary right? Can I wear a shirt and tie instead?

I think a shirt and tie would be nice. Sometimes a suit is overkill, especially in entry-level positions like this. However, you still want to look very professional because the banking industry is a very conservative one. Good luck!

well anything that can make you look nice and pleasant will do also try to smell nice.....try to speak less and be polite....I think it is a matter of how you can impress by your personality

ANYTIME you go for an interview, always over-dress. That will show the interviewer how much you respect the position you are interviewing for, the company, and them! Wear a suit and tie, and polish those shoes.
Wear a nice watch, and a class ring if you have one too. You only have one shot to make a good first impression. Good luck!

you can wear any dress but your confidence and speaking skill is very important. If they are impress by ur confidence and speaking skill they will definitely select you.

Dark blue or gray suit - the more conservative the better (no double-breasted, no "hip" or Euro-wasted cut.
White or light blue long-sleeved shirt
Well-shined shoes, preferably tie shoes, in black or burgundy, with belt of same color (the less "hardware" on both the better)
The best tie you can reasonably afford, in a contrasting color - preferably a phase of red with a pattern if a solid suit. Do not wear a plain, one color tie if you are wearing a solid color suit. Make sure your knot is snug and centered before walking in.
Black socks that are snug and top out well above your cuff, so no "skin" shows anywhere on leg when you are seated.
No cufflinks - and only a wedding or signet ring - no other extraneous jewelry, other than a conservative watch, and definitely no pocket watches, I.D. bracelets, etc...
Well groomed, no facial hair, with "high and tight" haircut
Clean, well-groomed fingernails and clean, frequently brushed teeth with liberal use of mouthwash that morning.
Carry a comb and nice handkerchief in your pants pocket for use if you need it. No decorative handkerchief in breast or other pocket of any kind.
You'll nail the interview when you're confident with your look. Best wishes for success with the bank.
