35 to 40 hours is considered full time. Part time is anything below that, usually 20 hours a week.

Full time usually means at least 40 hours a week, and you are eligible for benefits. Part time can really be any number of hours, possible even more than 40/week, but at most companies, part timers are not eligilble for benefits.
