please help- has anyone ever dated an offshore diver?

I am dating an offshore diver. He says he can't talk on the satellite phone bc it is only for supervisors. He says that there is a phone he could purchase but it is very costly per minute. He say he also is on call 24 -7. so he has no set scheldule. Is this true? Some people tell me he is full of shit and others say it is very possible. He seems to be honest but I need some advice. Does anyone know the truth?

Your question is a little frazzeled. 1 - Probably true about not being able to talk on a satellite phone - it's about 15 bucks a minute 2 - The job is high demand, so I would believe being on call all the time... You are leaving too much out to make a real guess as to what you really want to ask....do you think he's cheating..doing something behind your back? You never really say..
