What experience is needed to become an aerial firefighter?

These guys are the coolest/ballsiest guys on earth. If you have experience elaboration would be great. Thanks a lot!

Being an aerial Firefighter is very hard. There is a lot of personal training that needs to be done. First thing i can suggest is go to your local fire department and ask them. But as far as I know you need to at lest have a Firefighter I training course and the rest I really don't know. I do know that foreset fighting is a hard task and there are many sub fields to this field...So ask your local fire department and good luck. WVFDHeather

I assume that you are already a certified firefighter. Once you have proven your worth as a nozzle man, you must perfect your skills in forcible entry, ventilation, search and rescue, and salvage and overhaul. These are the primary duties of most "truckies".
