I hate my job and i dont know what to do.?

I have a good paying job and my dad was the superintendent. Im good at what i do and i like doing it. My dad was fired because the owners son wanted his position. The company is now a mess. No one knows whats going on and everything is crazy. Im in a specific union trade and no other companys are hiring. I hate being here but the pay is too good to just leave and do something else. My life is based on the money i am making and i couldnt live on less. Im just miserable and dont know what to do.

Have you looked at going back to school (part-time) to try to get a degree in something else? Basically it comes down to this: The company environment is not going to change. And you can only change those things under your control. The only thing you can control is your employment at the company. If there are not opportunities in your current field elsewhere, you need to think about learning anew field.

just make the best of it for now it will get better as time goes on any time a drastic change takes placein the work force it will take a little time to adjust. besides it is better than having bill collectors calling,utilitys turned off and no grocerys

Quit your job and try and make it working for bubbles, or any of the other get-rich-quick schemes. After you lose your savings and alienate your friends and family maybe your current employer will hire you back and you will more fully appreciate a steady, legitimate income.
