you have a lot of time like 4-5 yrs.
and remember get a job where you are doing something that you like not just for the money
A:
YOU'RE 13!!!
Just remember, there are people who drop out of High School and get jobs working with state of the art technology, and there are people who go to college for 4 or 7 years and get a Masters or PHD, and end up modeling for a magazine making $200,000 a year. But for all us real people who actualy exist, we have to bust our butts to get a job and work twice as hard to keep it.
Also remember, if you love the carear you make for youself, you'll never work a day in your life.

I am in sales, we have guys making over 100,000 dollars a year and more. I would say anything in sales will make you rich if you can sell. If you cant sell, i would say slowly buy up homes in a cheap state and rent it out and over your life time youll make some cash :)

shouldn't worry about it yet - you should start worrying about it the end of your sophomore (10th) year. But for just right now, you can make a LOT of money by computer engineering (designing and putting together computers and their parts) and computer programming (writing programs, either for people to use, or just for companies to use).
When I was 13, I wanted to be in a history field - it's all that I could see myself doing. But now I'm getting started in my education for engineering - a math field. Keep in mind that your taste will probabley change by then.

If you're already concerned about such a thing at thirteen years old, you'll probably do just fine.
A great springboard is school. Stay focused and pay extra attention in your English class. In it, you'll learn the correct spelling of words like approximately, technology, career, information, helpful, can, etc.

Start thinking about why you want money. Perhaps you can spend your time getting what you actually want. Say for example that you really enjoy the beach. You could look to own beach property that you could operate perhaps as a hotel.

Too soon to know what the market for labor will be in 10 years so for now just get the very best grades you can in advanced placement classes. Take a lot of math, English and science. When you are 18 pick a subject like medicine and take classes that will qualify you keep taking them unless you are sure that isn't right for you. Don't change majors unless you know 100% you need to, once you finish a degree you can get another much easier but you don't want to waste years hoping. You are wise to look at the pay not just doing a fun job.

I have to disagree with all of the posts that claim you are 13, so you shouldn't be worrying about what type of career to enter. True, you shouldn't worry yourself sick, but you need to start thinking ahead now. Make a list all of all the things you enjoy in life, and start researching careers that suit your taste. But recognize that very few in life are just given the royal treatment... in other words, expect to work, either physically or mentally, for every penny you earn. Unfortunately, you will probably need to go to college, which really isnt such a bad thing. Money isn't everything. As long as you make enough to live comfortably, you will be happy... and that's what it is all about!

Well, unless you get in good with Donald Trump...j/k.
You are 13 years old and it is OK to not know exactly what you want to do for a career. Your tastes WILL change with time...wait until you are 16 or 17 before you start looking for a possible career field. You'll want something you can see yourself doing for a long time and enjoy doing it every day!
Sounds like you also don't like to do a lot of extra education...which is normal at your age...trust me, you'll want the education in the end though!
I'm a massage therapist, took me only 9 months to complete the program, and I LOVE what I do every day. I also have the potiential to make $100,000 cash a year...but to get that much money per year means a lot of high paying clients and a lot of hours, PLUS being good at what I do. For me, I've know since I was 10 what I wanted to be, but I'm an exception...not the rule.
Don't worry so much and go have fun! Enjoy your early teenagehood!

if you are only 13, by the time you reach the job market, you can probably make $100,000 a year flipping burgers, but it will only pay your rent for 1 month. Go to college, get a masters degree, then get a phd. at least then you can eat the paper and survive a day or so longer.
