Warehouse work can be very strenuous. However, if you're in decent physical shape already, it can pay fairly well. Warehousing jobs really vary with pay and benefits. Companies such as UPS hire people to help load their trucks. The benefits can also be very good, as they offer lots of nice bonuses to their employees (i.e. paid tuition). Look in the paper, do a little leg work, and you'll find the job you're looking for.

It is very labor intensive. But, by the end of the season you'll be buff. so, in effect, your getting paid to work out. Depends, are you being paid by the hour, by the load, by the pallet? Do you get a hand truck or a fork lift?
