Is anyone there a car salesman (woman) and is it a worthwhile career to go into?

I was an hourly salesperson with strong background in customer service and making my SPH no problem, but now I've been offered lucrative opportunities in selling automobiles and it is a different venue for me, although the context is really the same. HELP!

If you're a born sales person you'll be able to sell anything. (once you know the product) My wife is a sales person, she could sell anything. I've watched her sell $1600 of make up to a lady who came to the counter to buy some lipstick. Sales peopel make the buyer feel special, and a woman in car sales may get more women buyers than a man might get. Of course you'll have to know your stuff inside and out to convince some men.
