Career Questions and Answers

What career should I choose if I am interested in operations, math, and philosophy?
Asked by
I currently work in manufacturing in purchasing and planning as a Material/Inventory Clerk. I have an Operations Management degree. I am thinking of making a career change within a couple of years, but don't really know what to do. If I need to go back to college I will. I just don't see myself doing this forever. I would like to use this experience to build my resume and then find something that would really interest me.

It sounds like you would make a great Actuary. Good luck.

What about accounting or law? The interpretation (and making of) rules and laws can be quite interesting and often an exercise in philosophy as much as mathematics...
