Is this career path realistic?

I am thinking about being a lpc a licensed professional councelor in which I will need a masters degree. If I get my degree then spend two or three years counseling prisoners for a state prison, could I eventually apply for the FBI? Would it be likely that they would take me?

Why don't you phone the FBI and ask what sort of education and experience they are looking for?
They'd know better than anybody else.
