how you get goverment electrical work contracts?

I am a license electrician and have a small crew to help me build electrical installations. We have the desire to work in contract work for the goverment, I specialized in industrial control systems controlled by programmable logic controllers. any information will help

You first have to register as a government contractor or subcontractor. Go to the small business administration site and look for the specific links regarding Federal contracts. Also go to the link below and look for the electrical contractor page for additional info on the electrical trade that might help you out. Also keep in mind that federal work requires that you pay your workers prevailing wage, so go to the electrician union page and look up the current prevailing wage requirements in your State.
