Can you help me I have an interview for a security guard job?
Asked by Randy
I'm looking for a new part time job and I applied for a security guard job. I have to call the woman on Monday and we will go over my resume then set up a interview for Thursday. Do you have any advice for me about possible questions they will ask me? Like why do I want to do this and what skills do I have? I currently work at mcdonalds and I volunteer at a homeless shelter. I also have a first aid/cpr certificate. Thanks for the help.

They might ask you a few questions that test your morals. Thats about it. A tip: make sure the first thing you ask is 'so where do you keep the money at night?'. It shows you're cautious about protecting their goods.

Dont worry about it. If you are alive, you can work for any security company.

Lots of questions concerning criminal record, shift work, and all depends on where it is at and what you are guarding. You should get the WHMIS certificate---looks good on a resume. Mostly for mall work its about being bondable and trustworthy.Good luck.
