How do you become a travel agent?

I frequently have to make travel arrangements for my boss. I was thinking that I should become a travel agent so that I can tap into those resources, get extra money for doing what I already have to do, and be able to travel for cheap myself! How do I go about this?

You need to study to be a travel agent. The only company that trains you on the job is Flight Centre. They have offices all over the world.
