What should I major in to become a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative?
Asked by aeval1091
I'm a junior in high school and I know this is what I want to do. Almost everything I've read has said to major in marketing. So I would like to get some advice from a real sales rep on what you majored in in college or if you even went and how you're doing now. Do you like your job? What type of personality do you have so I can compare. I'm super outgoing and energetic. I get told I have ADHD and that I'm super bubbly all the time. Think it's the right job for me? Thanks in advance :]

Best Answer:
Major in Pharmacy. With the degree you can open many doors in the field of sales. That is what the companies are looking for.

You'd probably make a great sales rep for Kids R'Us.. with your ADHD and bubbliness... but... Pharmaceutical Sales rep??? hmmm... I'd be a little nervous about ordering medicine from ya.. ;) By the way, I sell insurance.. too bad they don't have ADHD insurance.. if they do, I'll let ya know.. ;)
