I am a new phlebotomist and interested in finding a job with an insurance company, where do I look?
Asked by angl2839
I am interested in working for an insurance company doing blood draws for people obtaining life insurance policies. Which companies hire phlebotomists? Are there any phlebotomists out there who work for insurance companies? I would appreciate your input. I live near Raleigh, NC. Thank you!

Post your resume on Career builder and Monster. If anyone company is interested they will give you a call. It really works too. I have gotten at lease 7 calls for interviews from just posting my resume.

Well geesh, it only takes a call to insurance companies and they'll answer your question! The worst that can happen is they'll say no, we don't use phlebotomists. So work up the nerve and call an insurance co. today! Good luck, girlfriend.

a lot of them contract that work out. check with the insurance companies in your area and ask if they do the physicals in house or do they contract, if so with whom.
