what is a journeyman lineman and where do i go to get training in Iowa?

I am interasted in a position with a eletric company it is a journeyman lineman position it says i have to take a exam and have a cdla lic where would i go to get a book to study for the exam in iowa? i went to the library and they don't have anything. it pays 27.00 an hour i really need that kind of money

A lineman is someone who works up on the telephone poles fixing the high-voltage lines. It's an extremely dangerous profession. You should get books on electricians in general. They should have info about linesmen too...
